COVID-19 Guidance and Restrictions

We are excited that our annual flagship conference will return to meeting in-person in 2023. We are also committed to helping protect the health and safety of attendees, in accordance with federal, state, and university guidance. We ask all conference attendees to consider that for some, ongoing health risks to oneself or to household members may still pose a significant barrier to participation at in-person events.

Accordingly, we request but do not require that attendees consider wearing a high-quality, well-fitted mask indoors. This is in accordance with current University policy, which states that “[w]hile masks are optional on campus, we encourage those who prefer to do so to continue wearing them. Properly fitted N95 or KN95 masks remain an effective tool for preventing transmission, especially in conjunction with vaccination.” Please note that members of the CU campus community, including faculty, are required to have received the initial series of vaccine plus one booster.

  • If you are concerned you have been exposed to COVID-19, please get tested.
  • If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, please consider not attending conference gatherings.

For more information, reference the current Boulder County and University of Colorado Boulder Public Health Measures and COVID-19 restrictions.
