In the past decade, various branches of the state and the federal government have incorporated artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into their operations. These uses range from AI-enhanced decision-making in the courts to AI-supported operations in state and federal administrative agencies. This conference will examine the still nascent but growing use of AI in the government, with a particular focus on the court system and in administrative agencies, with an eye toward its implications for the larger society.
