New Venture Challenge 9: Championship

Tags: Entrepreneurship

Join Silicon Flatirons for the 9th annual showcase of entrepreneurship at CU Boulder as finalist teams present their new and innovative business ideas.

At long last! After working hard on their ideas for the past 9 months, the winners of each NVC track will square off to compete for over $25,000 in cash prizes in the CU New Venture Challenge 9 Championships. In addition to cash prizes, this year’s finalists will compete for a $50,000 investment made possible by the Caruso Foundation and Anchor Point Foundation. Come witness the great CU entrepreneurial talent doing their thing at this fun-filled event!

The CU NVC is the go-to on-campus entrepreneurial competition. The program seeks to allow students, staff, and faculty the ability to try out the entrepreneurial game in a friendly, flight-simulator-like environment while competing for thousands of dollars in prizes. Past winners have leveraged the program’s resources to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey, including acceptance into prestigious programs such as the NSF I-Corps and TechStars.

In the spirit of innovation, CU NVC has added an Audience Choice Award this year. The Audience Choice Award will be voted on by the audience and funded by generous donations from audience members. If you’re interested in giving to the Audience Choice Award, please donate here.
