See how governments can collaborate and innovate! Join us for the presentation of workable solutions to pressing problems faced by state and local governments in this Pitch Night—the finale to the 2019 Governmental Entrepreneurial Leadership Accelerator (GELA).
Four teams will pitch their ideas of innovation to solve real challenges to Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, Alan Salazar of Office of Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock, Tony Gherardini of the Colorado Governor’s Office, and Nancy Phillips of Flexential. Teams are comprised of rising stars from the City and County of Denver, City of Boulder, State of Colorado, Office of the Attorney General, and students from the University of Colorado Law School.
GELA is a Silicon Flatirons program that encourages innovative thinking within government. Pitch Night is the capstone to this seven-week accelerator where teams attend a boot camp with a cutting-edge entrepreneurial curriculum, work closely with experienced mentors and government leaders, and research and test entrepreneurial solutions to their assigned problem statements.
