The CU New Venture Challenge is a cross-campus business development competition that offers CU students and faculty the chance to learn about entrepreneurship, form teams to develop business ideas, and collaborate with others from across CU’s various departments and schools. Join us on Thursday, April 5th at 5:30 pm in the Courtroom of Wolf Law for the NVC Finals in which teams from the various NVC tracks – Information Technology, Cleantech, Music, Social Impact, and General – compete for a $10,000 prize pool and the title of CU NVC Champion.

At NVC Finals you will hear the top 6 NVC teams deliver their investor pitch before a panel of judges: Libby Cook (Founder of WildOats and President of Philanthropiece), Jason Mendelson (Managing Director, Foundry Group), Roxy Podlogar (Strategic and New Market Development, Tendril), and Glenn Russo (Executive Vice President, Zayo Group). The evening will also feature a keynote address from Jim Fowler, Founder and Former CEO of Jigsaw.

The NVC is organized by the Silicon Flatirons Center and Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, as well as our campus partners: ATLAS, Music Center for Entrepreneurship, CU Engineering, eSpace, CESR, ITP, and CU Clean Tech
