Spectrum Policy Initiative Co-Director Dr. Keith Gremban secures $750K NSF grant to work on 5G security

Silicon Flatirons Spectrum Policy Initiative Co-Director and CU Boulder aerospace research professor, Dr. Keith Gremban, secures $750K NSF grant to work on 5G security, co-edited and wrote a chapter for a new book on IoT for Defense and National Security to be released this December.

“When the military goes into a country, we use the roads and infrastructure that are already there to move our troops. We don’t build our own, so similarly we should also use the communications networks that already exist there,” Gremban said. “But there are security issues. We want to protect our soldiers and devices.”
