David Padrino

Colorado Attorney General's Office — Chief Recovery Officer



David Padrino serves as the Chief Recovery Officer for Attorney General Phil Weiser, where he leads the strategy and implementation for initiatives to help the state recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.  David has held leadership roles in all three sectors.  He served as the state of Colorado’s first Chief Performance Officer for Governor John Hickenlooper and as Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor and COO Donna Lynne.  He was a Principal at the global strategy consulting firm the Boston Consulting Group. And he served as a Senior Advisor at ZOMALAB, the family office of Ben and Lucy Ana Walton, where he supported the office’s philanthropy and social impact investing. He volunteers as the Chair of the Governors Fellowship at CiviCO and teaches a class on delivering results in government at the CU-Denver School of Public Affairs.  David has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Finance, and a BA in History from Vassar College.
