On March 1, 2021, the Silicon Flatirons Intellectual Property (IP) Initiative hosted a roundtable “Influencers: The New Payola?” Experts from copyright, trademark, media, antitrust, and advertising law explored the emerging business strategy of influencer marketing and where the seeds of influencer marketing may have been planted decades ago.
