Arbel is a Professor of Law at the University of Alabama. He has published widely on private law and technology in leading law review and peer review journals. He is a co-director of CLAIR, the Center for Legal AI Risk. He works on integrating AI tools into private law, and on AI legal safety. Arbel holds his doctorate from Harvard Law School and was previously a clerk at the Supreme Court of Israel.
