Wes is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an emphasis on power electronics and embedded systems and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He spent two years as co-lead of the CU Solar Decathlon team as they designed and built a net zero energy home to compete in the U.S. Department of Energy’s international contest. Outside of academia, Wes is an experienced backcountry guide and has led numerous commercial rafting, climbing, and backpacking expeditions. This past summer, Wes joined forces with Rishi to launch bringbackboredom, an outdoor gear and apparel startup. Their pilot product is a patent-pending versatile carry option for people with an active and on-the-move lifestyle.
