Stacy is the deputy director of policy development in the Clean Energy Program at Western Resource Advocates. In her role, she advances policies that support clean energy across the organization’s seven-state region and ensures there are equitable benefits for the region’s diverse residents. Stacy works closely with state agencies, environmental organizations, consumer advocates, and industry representatives to identify solutions to the urgent climate crisis. She has represented WRA before state regulatory commissions, developing analyses and testimony to advocate for policies that can achieve science-based climate goals. In addition, she works with partners to develop legislation to catalyze the transition to a low-carbon economy. Stacy joined WRA in 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and a Master of Environmental Science degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She previously taught natural history to school groups in parks throughout California and Utah.
