Shani Rosenstock is a data and technology policy expert with experience leading corporate and government policy initiatives advancing privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and responsible innovation. Shani currently works at Uber Technologies leading data privacy and security public policy initiatives, with a specific focus on global regulations & legislation and privacy-centric product development. Prior to Uber, Shani Rosenstock was a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee (“HSGAC”) where she advised on issues pertaining to national security, privacy, and emerging technology. On HSGAC, Shani routinely drafted and negotiated legislation, as well as organized committee-wide hearings on relevant issues. Prior to her time in the U.S. Senate, Shani worked for Speaker of House John A. Boehner in the U.S. House of Representatives and at Deloitte Consulting LLP. Shani holds a Master’s in Law and Technology from Georgetown University Law Center and an undergraduate degree in Business and Political Science from American University.
