Dr. Sanghamitra Neogi is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she leads the CU Aerospace Transport Modelling (CUANTAM) Lab. CUANTAM lab develops modeling frameworks for materials design and discovery, with applications in thermal management for advanced microelectronics, extreme environment resilience, and quantum technologies. She earned her PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics from Penn State and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute in Germany. Building on DARPA-funded breakthroughs, she founded AtomTCAD Inc. in 2025, a startup developing software that combines quantum physics and AI to predict heat flow in advanced microchips. AtomTCAD has been recognized with a Colorado OEDIT Proof-of-Concept award, validating its technical and commercial potential.
