Poolad is an expert in quantum networking and quantum photonics. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. After Purdue, Poolad Joined the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as a Postdoctoral Associate, where he founded Icarus Quantum based on NIST’s semiconductor quantum dot technology.
