Lissette is an MBA student at CU’s Leeds School of Business and has a BSc in Industrial Engineering. She began her professional experience as a trainee at UNILEVER, where she worked for 8 years, including 5 years in Management roles. She decided to leave the company after the birth of her twins, not only to take care of them but to start something independently. Teaming up with her sister and her mother, who is a psychologist, she developed a teletherapy platform. After a couple of years of operation, they began to build a model that imitated the responses of a therapist, it evolved to become an AI Emotional Assistant, expanding access to mental help, breaking time and cost barriers. Currently Mindsurf is a platform that offers several tools for the mental wellbeing of people, with a B2B business model, reduces costs for Employers, and improves performance and retention in the organizations.
