Jacqueline is the co-founder of Dateability, the only dating app for the disabled and chronically ill communities. Originally from Telluride, Jacqueline graduated from Colorado College in 2016 and then received her Master’s in Family and Human Development. As a disabled woman, she faces society’s ableist tendencies, especially in the dating world. Jacqueline’s personal experience with disability and chronic illness led her to create Dateability with her sister, Alexa.
With experience in digital design, Jacqueline was responsible for designing every aspect of the app, including the icons and logo. Additionally, Jacqueline has spearheaded Dateability’s marketing efforts, and has singlehandedly garnered coverage from The Washington Post, NPR, USA Today, and other media outlets. It is Dateability’s mission to make love accessible for all people, while also using the app’s platform to fight for disability rights.
