Ed has 25 years experience working with venture capital and private equity backed startups. Ed spent his first 13 professional years in the venture capital industry working through two market bubbles (2000 and 2008) with hundreds of companies from startup to exit or failure. He has spent the last 14 years on the operating side where he has been part of 5 startups, multiple rounds of institutional financings, and 3 exits in enterprise social software, big data and analytics, and currently Proptech/web3. Ed and his wife have lived in Boulder for 25 years and have been fortunate to raise their 3 kids in Boulder. Ed received his MBA at the Leeds School of Business in 2002 and continues to support CU graduates in their entrepreneurial journeys through mentorship and advisory roles.
