After receiving an electrical engineering degree from MIT and formative years with Hewlett Packard, Jim Pollock has been involved in eight early stage or startup technology companies in Dallas, Silicon Valley and Boulder with 4 exits. Currently, Jim is the CEO/Co-founder of Boulder’s LumenAstra which is commercializing patents from the Univ of Colorado Microwave Lab for a novel, non-invasive, wearable sensor measuring core temperature several centimeters below wherever placed on the skin. Applications include surgical, clinical, military, athletics and consumer thermometry.
