DJ Richardson is a skilled project manager with extensive experience leading teams, managing complex logistics projects, hardware engineering, and more recently software engineering. Prior to attending CU Boulder as a nontraditional student studying computer science, DJ was the youngest senior level manager for a national logistics and warehousing business, which he left in pursuit of his calling in computer engineering. Now in his final semester at CU Boulder, DJ works as a hardware engineer with Lockheed Martin and is pursuing his passion as an entrepreneur. DJ’s journey is uniquely complemented by his background as a semi-professional dance performer, a testament to his dynamic capabilities and passion for connecting with audiences.
At the intersection of his creative passion, love for technology, and bold ambition, DJ is helping to lead a team in developing Local, an innovative platform to connect tourists and the unique culture that lies at the heart of the communities they visit.
