David Meissner is a writer, educator, and content creator who has developed educational content for organizations such as The American Federation of Teachers, National Center for Learning Disabilities, and WETA Public Television. David has a master’s degree in education from New York University and taught K-12 students for seven years. After his aunt lost her courageous battle with ALS in 2015, David left the classroom to create Your ALS Guide, a free online resource for families impacted by ALS.
