Matt Blaze is the McDevitt Professor of Computer Science and Law at Georgetown University, where his work focuses on the intersection of technology, law, and public policy. His research interests include cryptography, privacy, surveillance, election security, and large scale computing and networking. Prior to joining Georgetown in 2019, he was a professor of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania, and prior to that a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs.
