Dr. Jason Adaska is an innovator and leader in the growing field of AI-driven legal technology. He is the founder and current Director of the Holland & Hart Innovation Lab which is responsible for designing and executing the firm’s technology innovation initiatives. This has included the development of numerous applications for patent and trademark prosecution and related IP legal workflows. Jason is the Chief Technology Officer of the firm’s technology subsidiary, Juris Futura LLC, which provides technology consulting services for law firms and legal departments. In addition, he is a liaison for Holland & Hart to the broader the legal-tech community, serving on the advisory board of Silicon Flatirons, and the AI sub-committee of the AIPLA. Recently, he became a 2021 Fastcase 50 award winner, which honors “the law’s smartest and most courageous innovators.”

A technologist by training Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Cornell University, and a master’s and doctorate in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. Prior to joining Holland & Hart in 2015, Dr. Adaska worked as a Program Director leading multi-million dollar R&D projects in the defense industry.
