As COVID-19 sweeps the nation, accessing and using health information is more important than ever. Ensuring continuity of care for those diagnosed with COVID-19, carrying out research using collected health data, including responses to medication, and even tracking outbreaks is vital. For this, robust electronic health record systems, that are interoperable, but also protect privacy are essential. This panel examines new tools EHR companies have developed, and how health care entities, providers, and public health bodies use the data collected.
