The 2017 Governmental Entrepreneurial Leadership Accelerator (GELA) concludes with Pitch Night: the presentation of workable solutions to pressing problems faced by the City and County of Denver and State of Colorado.

Come see four teams present their ideas to policy problems involving homelessness, the opioid epidemic, the aging population and mobile vendors. Teams are comprised of City and State employees and Colorado Law students. Since attending a boot camp with a cutting-edge entrepreneurial curriculum, teams have worked with experienced mentors and researched and tested entrepreneurial solutions to their assigned policy problems. This nine-week accelerator is a partnership among Silicon Flatirons, Denver, and Colorado to encourage innovative thinking within government.
