Interested in startups? Curious about being an entrepreneur? Have an idea you’ve always wanted to develop? Want to just have some fun? Join us at the New Venture Challenge Kickoff on Thursday, September 24th! Space is limited, so register now!

The CU New Venture Challenge (NVC) is entering its 8th year and is certain to continue the legacy of entrepreneurship, involvement, and FUN on the CU-Boulder Campus. Check out this video, which captures the spirit of the program.

This year we are excited to have two great speakers kick off another succesful NVC season. Lisa Reeves, VP of corporate strategy at Workday and General Partner at Vista Ventures, will offer important insights on picking a business worth building and finding the right time to jump in. Our second speaker is Phil Taynton of Mallinda, the 2014 NVC Co-Champion that’s using malleable plastics in a wide range of applications. Phil will share his experiences from the NVC and talk about how participants can get the most out of what the NVC has to offer. The speakers will be followed by a Q&A session and brief preview of the NVC season. Immediately following will be a reception to close out the night.

The Kickoff is a perfect opportunity to learn more about the NVC, spark an idea, meet local entrepreneurs, find other business-minded students, or just learn more about entrepreneurship. Come for this event and you’ll likely leave with new connections, new friends, and new ideas!
