Sherwin is a Lead Public Policy Manager at the Wikimedia Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as Special Counsel in the Competition Policy Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, where he worked on broadband privacy and call authentication, among other matters. Before his time at the Commission, he was Vice President of Legal Affairs at Public Knowledge, overseeing the organization’s legal work and focusing on digital copyright issues.
