Jason Albert

Workday — Managing Director, Public Policy



Jason is the Managing Director, Public Policy at Workday, where he leads the company’s worldwide government affairs engagement on tech policy issues, building on his more than twenty years’ experience in legal and policy work in both the U.S. and Europe.

Before joining Workday, he spent close to a decade at Microsoft, where he was responsible for strategic planning across the legal department and drove cross-company cloud initiatives. Before that, he served as lead privacy counsel at both Chevron and Honeywell. After clerking for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Jason began his career at Covington & Burling, working in the firm’s D.C., London, and Brussels offices.

Jason holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
