Eric Burger

Dr. Eric Burger focuses on telecommunications and cybersecurity. He was detailed by the Federal Communications Commission where he served as its Chief Technology Officer and is on IPA from Georgetown University, where he is a Research Professor of Computer Science. Dr. Burger served as CTO in a number of network equipment, software, and service providers. He holds over 20 issued U.S. Patents and has authored over 20 IETF RFC’s, W3C CRs, and 3GPP TRs. Dr. Burger has a PhD with Highest Honors in Computer Science, an MBA in International Business Management with Honors with a double minor in Economics and Marketing, and a SB in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, and Illinois Institute of Technology.
