Mindy has been active in Silicon Flatirons since its inception in 1998, and served as an officer during law school. In addition to her law degree, Mindy has a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

After law school, Mindy gained significant appellate experience first clerking for Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court and then clerking for the Honorable Ferdinand F. Fernandez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is now an associate in Faegre & Benson’s Boulder office. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, telecommunications litigation and regulation, First Amendment and media litigation, and commercial litigation.

Mindy has continued her involvement with Silicon Flatirons. In addition to participating in conferences and roundtables, Mindy serves as a mentor to a first year law student.
