The Entrepreneurial Policy Academy (EPA) seeks to educate and encourage rural entrepreneurs on how to engage in and advocate for stronger legislative policies. The academy will empower these entrepreneurs to realize their ability to provide direct input to local, state, federal, and international policymakers and standards-setters.

Applications open on June 16, 2021 and close at 5pm on  July 19, 2021. The Entrepreneurial Policy Academy is free and open to entrepreneurs from rural Colorado. Only eight entrepreneurs will be selected for the Academy, which convenes Tuesday and Wednesday, August 3 and 4, 2021. The culminating policy forum is currently scheduled for Monday, August 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Additional information on the EPA is available here.

This project is a joint undertaking by Silicon FlatironsStartup Colorado, and Telluride Foundation Venture Network, and is made possible by America’s New Business Plan Grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
