Karen Levy is an assistant professor in the Department of Information Science at Cornell University and associated faculty at Cornell Law School. She researches the legal, organizational, social, and ethical aspects of data-intensive technologies, particularly under conditions of inequality. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Princeton University and a JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is a New America National Fellow; her work has been supported by the MacArthur Foundation, Sloan Foundation, and National Science Foundation.
